This month's speaker is Sister Maria Frassati Jakupcak, OP, of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist (the Ann Arbor Dominicans). Dan's talk, "Galileo and the Church," will discuss the trial of Galileo before Pope Urban VIII in the early 17th century. This will be the final part of a five-week Theology on Tap series at The Greene Turtle in Fell's Point. The evening will start at 7 p.m. for a "happy half hour," and the talk will commence at 7:30 p.m. Following the talk will be a chance for questions from the audience, and then a period for additional fellowship. This will be the fourth part of a five-week Theology on Tap series at The Greene Turtle in Fell's Point. The evening will start at 7 p.m. for a "happy half hour," and the talk will commence at 7:30 p.m. Following the talk will be a chance for questions from the audience, and then a period for additional fellowship. Kathleen's talk is titled, "Evolution: How the Catholic Church and Science Coincide." Kathleen is currently a neuroscience Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She also is studying for two master's degrees: the first in theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary in conjunction with the National Catholic Bioethics Center, and the second in national security and strategic planning from the U.S. Naval War College.
