Our current Theology on Tap Tuesday evening series at The Greene Turtle in Fell's Point continues! Theology on Tap starts at 7 p.m. with dinner, beer, and fellowship, with a talk beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The speaker for this week is Mary Ruppert, the Director of Philanthropy for L'Arche Greater Washington D.C. L'Arche is an interdenominational Christian faith community and non-profit organization that provides life-long homes for people with intellectual disabilities. While the homes of L'Arche are similar to typical group homes, they are fundamentally different because of the way they value each person’s gifts, and because of the emphasis they place on relationships between those with intellectual disabilities and those without intellectual disabilities.

All Saints Day Vigil: Baltimore was a huge success!

Over 100 people joined us from all over Baltimore City to worship alongside the saints. Last week, we hosted Baltimore's first ever Vigil of All Saints on Halloween with readings from writings about and by some of the saints, the singing of hymns, the chanting of night prayer, and a candlelight procession to our center altar, which was decorated with the relics of many of the saints.

We are very excited to make this an annual event, as we continue to ask for the intercession of our saints in heaven.

See for yourself: check out the rest of the photos here!

Also, the Dominican Province of Saint Joseph wrote an article on the event: check it out here!
