Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 7 p.m. Special Guest: Father Leo, "The Cooking Priest" Come to the Baltimore Frassati Fellowship's monthly night of worship at Saints Philip and James Church! Join us at 7 p.m. to adore the Lord in the Eucharist with praise and worship; there will be opportunities for confession during adoration. Our guest this month, Father Leo Patalinghug, will give the talk, "The Theology of Food," in the main church before adoration. After our time of worship, Father Leo will present a cooking demonstration in the parish hall while discussing the movement Grace Before Meals. Along with his work as a priest in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Father Leo also created and hosts the international movement Grace Before Meals, an apostolate to strengthen families and relationships around the dinner table. He's a chef, author of books and many publications, host of the TV show "Savoring our Faith" each Sunday at 5 p.m. on EWTN, host of the radio show "Entertaining Truth" on Sirius XM 129 each Thursday at 1 p.m., and conference speaker. Most of all, however, he's a "spiritual father" trying to give God's children the best food of all: the Eucharist! We ask that each person brings a $3-5 dollar offering to help offset the costs of the evening. Thanks so much! Also, should you wish to peruse and purchase any of them, there will be Grace Before Meals books for sale. (So, bring money with you if you anticipate the possibility of a purchase.) RSVP and invite your friends via our Facebook invitation! Parking is available in the parish parking lot on East 28th Street between St. Paul and North Charles Streets, across the street from the Saints Philip and James Rectory. Check out this map for information on parking and the grounds of Saints Philip and James: http://tinyurl.com/ssphilipnjames. Call for Volunteers: Are you interested in volunteering with the hospitality team (i.e., assisting with set-up of the reception or the coffee bar during the reception)? If so, please send an e-mail to info@baltimorefrassati.org.
