Our Theology on Tap autumn session at The Greene Turtle in Fell's Point* concludes today! Join the Baltimore Frassati Fellowship and young adults from the Archdiocese of Baltimore for fellowship and a talk by Dr. John Love called, "Augustine's Insights on Conversion in the Confessions."
Come at 7 p.m. for a "happy half hour"! The talk will commence at 7:30 p.m. Following the talk will be a time for the audience to ask our guest speaker questions, and then there will be a period for additional fellowship.
This evening's guest speaker, Dr. John Love, is an assistant professor of systematic and moral theology at Mount St. Mary's Seminary and University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. He earned his doctorate at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome, and other graduate degrees in theology from the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C., and the Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio. In his talk, Dr. Love will help us discover the rich layers of meaning in St. Augustine's Confessions, and unearth St. Augustine's insights about conversion and relationship with God so that we can find peace and joy in Christ.
