(* = Please note that this will take place on a Wednesday evening and not a Tuesday evening!)

Join the Baltimore Frassati Fellowship and young adults from the Archdiocese of Baltimore for a special session of Theology on Tap with George Weigel at The Greene Turtle in Fell's Point. The evening will start at 7 p.m. for a "happy half hour," and the talk will commence at 7:30 p.m. Following the talk will be a chance for questions from the audience, and then a period for additional fellowship.

Mr. Weigel, a native of Baltimore, is the Distinguished Senior Fellow of the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C., and he is also known as the biographer of Blessed Pope John Paul II. He will speak on evangelical Catholicism. Copies of his new book, Evangelical Catholicism: Deep Reform in the 21st-Century Church, will be available for sale, and he will be available after the talk to sign them.*

* = Special Book Offer: Theology on Tap – Fell's Point is partnering with CRMedia (publisher of our archdiocese's own Catholic Review), to make copies of George Weigel's Evangelical Catholicism: Deep Reform in the 21st-Century Church available for sale. Individuals who plan to attend Mr. Weigel's May 1 talk at The Greene Turtle may purchase their books in advance at a 10% discount and have their books reserved for them for pick-up at the talk. CRMedia will donate $1 to Theology on Tap – Fell's Point for every book that's sold in advance. For more information, visit www.cathedralfoundation.org/weigeltap.html and use the promo code TAP at checkout. (Please note that this offer will expire at 12:00 noon on May 1, 2013.) Books may also be purchased at the event or shipped to your home.
