Join the Baltimore Frassati Fellowship and young adults from the Archdiocese of Baltimore for fellowship and a talk by Lieutenant Kathleen Gilpin of the U.S. Navy.
This will be the fourth part of a five-week Theology on Tap series at The Greene Turtle in Fell's Point. The evening will start at 7 p.m. for a "happy half hour," and the talk will commence at 7:30 p.m. Following the talk will be a chance for questions from the audience, and then a period for additional fellowship.
Kathleen's talk is titled, "Evolution: How the Catholic Church and Science Coincide." Kathleen is currently a neuroscience Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She also is studying for two master's degrees: the first in theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary in conjunction with the National Catholic Bioethics Center, and the second in national security and strategic planning from the U.S. Naval War College.
