![]() Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. A new Theology on Tap four-week series at The Greene Turtle in Fell's Point* begins today! Join the Baltimore Frassati Fellowship and young adults from the Archdiocese of Baltimore for fellowship and a talk by Maria Schwendinger on faith and science. Join us at 6:30 p.m. for dinner, or you can choose to arrive at 7 p.m. for a "happy half hour"! The talk will commence at 7:30 p.m. Following the talk will be a time for the audience to ask our guest speaker questions, and then there will be a period for additional fellowship. This evening's guest speaker, Maria Schwendinger, is originally from Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and is one of ten children. She graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2006 and received her master's degree in education from Seton Hall University in New Jersey. She has been teaching high school Sciences for eight years and is currently a biology and anatomy teacher at Mount de Sales Academy in Catonsville. In 2010, she married Jacob Schwendinger, and they have two sons, Levi and Ben-David. Her passion other than her family is teaching and educating Catholics in the sciences.
