The Baltimore Frassati Fellowship ("Frassati") just turned two years old, and boy, has God been doing some great things! Frassati Night attendance has more than tripled since it first began in February 2011, and Theology on Tap has grown to the point where we can barely even fit in The Greene Turtle. Here are some highlights from the past two years:
Most importantly, we have heard from many young adults that Frassati has had a tremendous impact on their spiritual journey and has brought them much closer to Jesus in the Sacraments. This is why Frassati continues to exist as a ministry. Unfortunately, like any ministry, Frassati has financial expenses. So far, the Dominican friars and the parish community at Saints Philip and James have been gracious enough to invest in Frassati. Now that Frassati has grown and continues to grow, we need to make up for the additional expenses. The good news is that the Frassati core team has taken the time to calculate Frassati's expenses and has found that: If 40 people commit to donating 20 dollars a month, Frassati will be 100 percent financially self-sufficient!
